The Drake University Master of Accounting program will pause admissions after the Fall 2024 semester. This will allow the faculty time to reassess the program and its strategic direction. In the interim, the Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) programs are two avenues that undergraduate accounting students could pursue to acquire 150 credit hours to sit for the CPA exam. Both the MBA and MSBA programs offer graduate-level accounting electives that allow students to deepen their understanding of advanced accounting concepts. If you have any questions, please contact Jenny Jones, Assistant Dean of Student Achievement with the Zimpleman College of Business.
Zimpleman’s Master of Accounting (M.Acc.) program will prepare you to enter the rapidly changing field of accounting, expand your knowledge of accounting principles, further develop your leadership skills, and prepare you to sit for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) examination.
